I’ve always lead a very active lifestyle and sports have always been a very important part of my life. At an early age, I began with swimming and after 4 years I became actively competitive in athletics, which I pursued into early adulthood, with the intention of becoming a physical education teacher.
Even though my career went in a different direction, movement and remaining physically active were always important to me. After having my son, I began searching for an exercise mode that would help to strengthen my back and which would help to alleviate any current or future spinal problems. When I found pilates, I was immediately hooked as I loved feeling the challenges of the workouts and enjoyed seeing the benefits as I was able to integrate everything I learned in class into my everyday life with better core stability and posture.
